Our Warranty Policy

We warrant any defective part that we install per the manufacturers warranty process, which usually states that the defective part will be supplied free of charge for a specified period of time. Our labor is warranted for a period of 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever occurs first.

Nationwide Warranties

To further enhance our company warranty policy for when you are traveling, we also participate in NAPA Auto Care’s Peace of Mind Warranty program for all NAPA branded parts. Honored at over 13,000 facilities nationwide, NAPA will warrant their parts for a period of 12 months or 12,000 miles from time of installation. They will also compensate the repair facility for the labor required to replace the failed part. Further information can be found by clicking here.

As a Bosch Authorized Service Center we also offer their nationwide warranty on Bosch branded automotive parts. The Bosch Corporation offers various levels of warranties starting at 12 months – unlimited mileage and increasing depending on the type of part, new or re-manufactured. If you have specific questions or concerns regarding any warranty, contact us and we will provide you with that information.

New Car Warranties

New car warranties cover everything from bumper to bumper for a specified time; 3 years/ 36,000 miles is the most common.  What they don't cover are the regular service items such as oil changes, tire rotation and other normal wear and tear items.  You are not required to return to the dealership to have these services performed to maintain your new car warranty.  The only requirement you need to provide if a warranty issue were to arise, would be full documentation of the recommended service performed in accordance with the manufacturer specified schedule.  B&D Automotive has every vehicle service record archived in digital and or hard copy form back to the day we opened for business on February 1, 1982.  So retrieving your service records is never a problem.

Extended Warranties

In most cases, extended warranties are underwritten by a private insurance company or private entity other than the manufacturer of the vehicle.  We honor most reputable extended warranty policies for covered repairs.  We will contact the administrator of the warranty contract for you once we have diagnosed the problem to obtain authorization and perform the necessary repairs.  If you have any questions or concerns pertaining to extended warranties and their coverage, please don't hesitate to contact us.
